In (I’m guessing) June of 2003, the Embrey family embarked on a road trip north to Yellowstone and Grand Teton Parks, followed by a leg into Alberta, Canada visiting Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper. Betsy sent photos but didn’t annotate so I’m making educated guesses on locations and sequence. Maybe they can fill in the details at some point.
The trip probably started with a long day’s drive from Denver to Jackson Hole and the entrance to the Grand Teton National Park.
They spent at least a day or two in Yellowstone.
Entering the park At Grand Prismatic with no crowds. Is that Joe standing in an unsafe place? Bison and baby More bison and babies Seemingly way too close to a big bison Old Faithful? Old Faithful? Coyote crossing road Bull elk with fuzzy antlers Female elk with calf Leaving Yellowstone to the north Roosevelt Arch near Gardiner
It’s another full day’s drive from Yellowstone to Calgary, Alberta. From there, it looks like they headed up the Icefields Parkway through Banff and Jasper National Parks.
