Marble trim for fireplaces…installed in the wrong places. The white marble was supposed to be in the family room. I had to complain to Tim to get the workmen to switch them. He was not pleased.
Tile and marble trim. Our tile was sourced from Compass Stone & Tile in Annapolis. I’d made a number of trips there to choose our particular tile styles for each bathroom. We wanted decorative accents in Allie’s room and the master bath. Allie and Barb were very involved in the final choices.
We also wanted heated tiles like we’d discovered at the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen. Fortunately, the Compass people knew how to do that. We also wanted heated towel racks like in Copenhagen but had a harder time finding them. We settled on a standalone electric towel warmer from a catalog for our master bathroom. Sorry, Allie.
